British University and Colleges Sport (BUCS)

The Universities Pool Council hosts an annual competition between British University pool teams and this is now fully recognised by BUCS, the national organisation for all higher education sport in the UK. Each University can enter up to three independent teams which we have taken full advantage of in the past.

In the 2009 team and singles events at Coventry, our three teams each played against 18 other teams from 10 institutions total and each player also took part in the singles event.

And once again, we have secured a double WIN!

To date there have been 5 team competitions and 6 singles championships. Oxford have been unbeaten in the team competition, and have produced 5 singles champions.
